Merry Christmas – Today we will talk about Christmas. I don’t write very well but today it is a matter of religion which is why I could not stop myself from writing. I have brought before you my thoughts and some truth. I am talking about religion because Christmas is also associated with a religion. When it comes to religion, almost everyone in the world is associated with one religion or another. This trend has been going on for centuries. There are many religions all over the world. Everyone is associated with their religion. These religions are inherited by everyone from their ancestors. Every religion has its own rules and people who are associated with religion. They follow the rules of that religion.
Now let’s talk about Christmas. Merry Christmas is celebrated on December 25 every year. It is a very popular festival. Because on this day all the people are happy and excited. The day of this holy religious festival is a holiday everywhere. That is why people celebrate this festival at night in their homes.
Christmas festival celebrate In 1283
This really started with us in the ‘Christingle’ Service on Sunday afternoon, December 11th – a grand crowded occasion of parents and children, with over eighty children offering gift envelopes for the Church of England Children’s Society, and then forming a long procession, each carrying a ‘Christingle’ with its candle lit, to follow the cross and lights slowly round the church. This led to the beautiful moment when in the church lit only by candles, the children all sang ‘Away in a manger.’
On the evening’s cf Wednesday, December 14th and Thursday, the 15th, it was good to fill the church with children from West Mersea School, their parents and friends, in service of carols and a presentation in a costume of the Christmas story, including accompaniment by members of the school orchestra.
On Sunday morning at the Parish Communion, another crowded congregation witnessed the large decorated Christmas Tree being lit, and at the Offertory, a long procession of children brought their gaily wrapped gifts to be placed under the Tree and to be later taken to handicapped children at Turner Village.
In the evening a full church took part in the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols, the lessons being read by representative readers, and the carols led by a full choir under the lights of the great candelabra.
On Friday afternoon, December 16th, the Mothers’ Union Christmas meeting included carols and readings, followed by Christmas tea. The ‘eats’ left over made a very helpful contribution to the two treats of the Scramblers & Climbers, and Explorers on the following day.
Another crowded church of parents, children, and friends gathered on Christmas Eve to take part in hearing the Christmas story, placing the figures in the Crib in the middle of the church, and joining in familiar carols.
Merry Christmas is Celebrated.
The traditions and customs of this festival have been going on for thousands of years. This festival is celebrated in the celebration of Jesus’ birthday. Jesus is the foundation of Christianity. That is why this festival is associated with Merry Christianity. But now this festival is so popular that people of other religions have started celebrating it.
Its people are so happy that they exchange gifts with customs. People decorate the Christmas tree. Go to church, people go to share food with their family and friends. The children look forward to Santa’s day. Because on this day the children think that Santa will give them a gift in the middle of the night.
Today I will also tell you where and how Merry Christmas started.
The tradition of celebrating festivals has been going on all over the world for many centuries. Before Jesus was born, the people of Europe were trapped in darkness and superstition. And when Jesus was born, all Christians began to consider him their Messiah. In those days, Europeans thought the end of December was the right time to celebrate. Due to superstitions, many animals were slaughtered at the end of the year to avoid being fed during the winter and to save food. For many, it was the time of year when they got fresh meat.
The Germans then paid homage to the false god Oden during the winter holidays. As a result, people began to wonder who would prosper and who would perish. Because of his presence, people decided to stay inside. They all started celebrating Merry Christmas inside the house. On this day, they started lighting the house with colorful bulbs. On this day people started eating different types of food. People began to spend the whole night celebrating. Because on this day Jesus was born and the people were very happy and celebrated this festival to show their happiness. From that time onwards, the festival was celebrated continuously in the last week of December.
Was Jesus Born at Christmas?
In the early years of Christianity, Easter was the main festival and the main holiday; Jesus’ birth was not celebrated on the first Christmas day. In the fourth century, Christian authorities decided to celebrate the birth of Jesus as a holiday. But the Bible does not mention the date of Jesus’ birth. However, some evidence suggests that Jesus was born in the spring. Pope Julius was first elected on December 25 and is celebrated on this day. It is generally believed that December 25 was chosen by the church in an attempt to adopt. pagan Saturnalia was forcibly washing away the traditions of the festival. This festival is first called the birth of Jesus. The custom gradually spread to the Egyptians by 432 and all of England by the end of the sixth century.
By the end of the eighth century, Merry Christmas had spread throughout Scandinavia. Today, in the permanent religious churches of Greece and Russia, Merry Christmas is celebrated for 13 to 14 days after the 25th. This festival is celebrated for 13-14 days because Western churches use the Gregorian Calendar, while Eastern churches use the Julian Calendar, which is approximately 13 to 14 days behind the Gregorian Calendar. Therefore, the festival is celebrated in 14 days. Both western and eastern churches celebrate Epiphany or Three Kings Day 12 days after their respective Christmas festivities.
The whole history of Christmas that you have never heard before
It was celebrated at the same time each year, the church leaders decided to celebrate Christmas in a big way. But church leaders do not consider it necessary to comment on such fabrications. And later, in most Christian religions, false Christmas and false religion took their place. On Christmas day people joined the church and then drank alcohol. That was a very embarrassing thought. It was also the custom at that time for a beggar or student to be crowned “lord of misrule” every year and the celebrants to be part of his subject. Poor people went to the homes of rich people and demanded some good food and drink.
The rich would give food to the poor who came to their homes to beg. Thus Christmas became a time of year when the upper classes entertained the less fortunate citizens and gave a better lesson to society. This festival is celebrated because the people of churches believe that on this day three wise men found Jesus in the manger. Due to which this day became known as Three Kings Day. Now Christmas has taken its place in the winter holidays.
Why was Christmas canceled?
At the beginning of the 17th century, religious change changed the way Christmas was celebrated in Europe. When Oliver Cromwell and his troops fought and occupied England in 1645. They vowed to destroy the whole of England, and it was because of their efforts that Christmas was banned. With much demand, Charles was put on the throne. Taking advantage of this, Charles implemented the holidays. Pilgrims and English separatists came to the United States in 1620, believing in even more ancient beliefs than this religion. As a result, the Christmas holiday in the United States was canceled. Those pilgrims and English separatists wanted to stop Christmas altogether because they believed more in old beliefs. Therefore, from 1659 to 1681, they imposed an illegal ban on the celebration of Christmas. If anyone came forward with a Christmas spirit, they would be fined five shillings On the contrary.
Many writers are saying that Merry Christmas was enjoyed by all and passed without incident. After the American Revolution, Christmas was celebrated again. The English custom of Christmas is very much associated with Christianity, with which this festival is associated. Christmas was celebrated but was not a holiday on that day. Christmas was not declared a holiday until June 26, 1870.
Washington Irving celebrated Christmas through.
By the 19th century, the American people had begun to adopt Christmas. The American people began to celebrate Christmas again with great joy and enthusiasm, and Christmas was declared a performance holiday and turned into an old day. The 19th century began with conflict and turmoil. Unemployment was high during Christmas and often led to riots. Following the riots in 1828, the New York City Council established the city’s first police force. As a result, the riots subsided and the way Merry Christmas was celebrated in the United States changed and people began to follow the rules.
In 1819, the most famous author, Washington Irving, wrote an English book. In which the celebration of Christmas was told. He also wrote about the Merry Christmas holidays in this book. In contrast to these problems in American society, the two groups came together without any effort. According to the author, Christmas should be a peaceful and warm holiday. Which can give social status to groups? Washington Irving also wrote about ancient customs, including the crowning of an Egyptian master. Irving’s book was not based on any holiday celebration, it is about Merry Christmas celebrations.
Who Discovered Santa Claus?
The story of Santa Claus begins with a monk named St. Nicholas who was born in Turkey. He was the guardian of the children and the sailors.”‘Twice Night Before Christmas.'” The poem depicts Santa Claus as a funny person who helps deliver toys to children and flies on a sled driven by a render. Santa Claus has a white beard and a toy bag with toys in it. Santa Claus always comes in fun red clothes. A magnificent version of Santa Claus died in 1881. This brings joy to children who still celebrate Merry Christmas today.
